CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF QUORUM
  
Due to the COVID 19 Disaster and the CDC's recommendation regarding social distancing measures, the public will not be allowed to be physically present at this meeting.  However, the meeting will be available to members of the public and allow for two-way communications for those desiring to participate.  To attend the meeting via video conference, please use the following website www.zoom.com, click on "join a meeting" on the top right hand corner, and input the following Meeting ID: 891 7735 2333.  To attend the meeting via telephone, please use the following toll-free number: 1-877-853-5274, Meeting ID: 891 7735 2333.
 
Any person interested in speaking on any item on the agenda must submit his/her request via email to the Planning and Development Service Department at [email protected].  The request must include the speaker's name, address, and phone number that will be used if teleconferencing as well as the agenda item number.  The request must be received prior to the posted time of the meeting.

1.   MINUTES
 
a.   Consider approving the meeting minutes of the April 14, 2020, Board of Adjustment regular meeting.
 
2.   VARIANCES
 
a.   Conduct a public hearing concerning a request for variance to encroach into the required 15-foot front yard and 10-foot rear yard setbacks in the Mixed residential at low to medium densities (SF2) zoning district, required pursuant to Article III, Division 1, Table 3-1 "Property Development Standards" of the the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC), for the property located 1613 West Humble Street, and legally described as Lot 10, Rio Vista Subdivision, Harris County, Texas.

a.   Present a report regarding action taken by City Council and on planning and zoning items.
 
4.   ADJOURN
 
PUBLIC NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT IN ADDITION TO ANY EXECUTIVE SESSION LISTED ABOVE, THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADJOURN INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION AT ANY TIME AS AUTHORIZED BY THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 551.071 - 551.089 TO DISCUSS ANY OF THE MATTERS LISTED ABOVE.

DOCUMENTS PRESENTED TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD AND SHALL REMAIN AS A PART OF THE PUBLIC RECORD, THEREFORE PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE RECORDS BEING PRESENTED ARE NOT THE ONLY COPY AS THEY WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO THE PRESENTER.
